Currently ways of transferring data, Airtime, from mtn to mtn number and also get and change your transfer pin.

You can now share data from your active data balance to friends, family & loved ones.  on like before people find it difficult to transfer data to their love ones via mtn to mtn  numbers but now the good news  is that the mtn have made it too easy for every one to do the data transfer by themselves no training or professional is required just choose any of the
Four  options to transfer data or mega byte to family and friends . below methods are solely for all MTN subscribers only (whether new sim or old sim card)


1: Dial *131*7*1# on your phone and follow the directives

2:Dial *131*Phone number*Data amount#

3:Log into MyMTN App, select 'bundle' and select 'data transfer'

 4:Text Transfer<space>Phone number<space>Data amount and to 131. example Transfer 08035xxxxxx 100  and send to 131
                 
     Minimum amount or data you can transfer is 10mb ,50mb and  maximum of 100 mb.
          Maximum number of transaction per a day ( transfer)

You can transfer data to your beneficiary twice everyday Transferred data bundle shares the same validity with that of the donor



      Another way of getting data from your loved ones is by requesting data from them and the second good news is that the mtn have designed a platform called Dash-me-Data Service.
This enables customers who are in need of data to request data from a loved one or family.

To request for data, simply dial *131*7*3# free of charge.

It also allows customers initiate a data request to his/her friends for them to buy MyCustomer a data bundle. By this, the beneficiary can request for data from a sponsor. To view pending requests, dial *131*7*4#
     

How to transfer airtime from mtn to another mtn number

simply dial * 600 * number * amount * PIN # eg *600*08035*****5*100*1234# then hit the send button and you are good to go

          or text transfer(space)number(space)amount(space)PIN to 777. 

E.g Transfer 08035******  100 1234

Then send to 777

Afterwards, text YES and send to 777 after 5mins. 

And it is done and dusted😀

But before this will work out you must have transfer pin  that's four digit as your transfer pin.

HOW TO GET MTN TRANSFER PIN

Simply text 1235 and your preferred four digital x2 and send  to 777  and your pin we be created successfully for instance text;  1234 3456 3456 and send to 777.and you are done.

Don't forget this will only work if you are generating you transfer pin for the first time .

NOTE:  Transfer pin is solely created per sim don't think if you have two mtn sim card or more than and you eventually registered one sim card via share services ( transfer ) you can use the pin to every other mtn line or sim  No! It wouldn't work that way if you want to use other mtn line on share services or transfer airtime you have to register it also.

How to change your transfer pin

Simply text your old pin (space)  new pin(space) new pin  then send to 777 and your transfer pin will change automatically

Eg  3456 6789 6789  send to 777 via message. That's all.
